At the free in-home estimate, we measure each room and add the waste factor, usually 7 to 10 percent for straight lay and more for diagonal. We check the subfloor for flatness with a straightedge, and on concrete we take a moisture reading. We look at doorways, stairs and the rooms where the floor will end so we can plan T-moldings and reducers.
We bring samples in AC3 and AC4 wear ratings, standard and waterproof, so you can see them in your own light next to your cabinets and walls. We explain which ones suit which rooms.
